Care of your teeth and gums is vital if you want them to last you for life, this is why at Van Zyl we have a highly motivated team of dental hygienists to support us.

The hygienist's main role is to professionally remove tartar, plaque and staining. This is usually called scaling and polishing. However, perhaps their most important role is showing the patient the best way to keep their teeth free of plaque. They also instruct patients' on how to help maintain healthy teeth and gums as well as providing advice on healthy eating habits.

The Prevention of Dental Diseases and the promoting of a fresh and healthy smile have always been priorities at Van Zyl. Our team of dedicated and experienced hygiene professionals work closely with other members of the Van Zyl Dental Team to add quality hygiene treatment to the extensive list of services we provide.
